In a city known for its luxury fashion houses and refined street style, it’s hard to stand out in the crowd. Luckily, for White Milano, an international womenswear showcase in the heart of Milan’s Tortona Fashion District from February 27 to March 2, 2025, looking good is no problem. The tradeshow, which runs concurrently to Milan’s Fashion Week, is now in its twenty-fifth year, and continually attracts top buyers and media and fashion industry professionals from around the world. We also have them to thank for launching the careers of many talented designers over the last two decades, from Uma Wang to more recent names like Kidsuper, Botter, and WINDOWSEN. Still, such success is hardly surprising from an event hosted under the patronage of the municipality of Milan–the Milanese always do it più chic.

This year, White Milano is welcoming over 300 clothing and accessories collections to the Italian capitol. A long standing partnership with Confartigianato Moda has led to the development and promotion of Italian small and medium-sized enterprises, 24 of which will be presented at the showcase, including BLUI, DLB, DOUUOD, MA’RY’YA, MAURIZIO MASSIMINO, PINTORIE, PS DON’T FORGET ME, SCAGLIONE and SHE’S SO. This year’s edition also sees exciting new partnerships with companies like TECLOR, a Japanese brand with decades of experience in creating bespoke garments, and BLACK SUEDE STUDIO, a Montreal-based footwear ateliers among the top in the world.
White Milano also brings back Secret Rooms, a highly anticipated project that offers an exclusive experience to explore emerging designers in an intimate setting. Five young brands–including YID’PHROGMA (China), MAZ MANUELA ALVAREZ (Colombia), CAROLXOTT (Estonia), OH CARLA (Italy), and RENÈ (Denmark)–have been selected for their boldness and ability to defy convention while still appealing to a crowd.
Basement is yet another feature of this year’s showcase, encompassing a special space dedicated to research collections. Suk, an area of the fair featuring collections of small dimensions, is similarly returning and presenting the likes of NATAEDEA, a streetwear brand, ELLI VIVALDI, a woven handbags line, and MP8, with their colorful and unisex creations that utilize a sustainable approach to fabric use. These special projects allow guests to come into contact with all different types of designers and collections, guaranteeing that they leave with both new connections and fresh inspirations.

Strengthening international ties within the fashion industry has long been a main goal of White Milano. With this aim in mind, they have been selected by the prestigious AlMalki Group to inaugurate an exclusive pop-up store at the renowned Westerly department store in Riyadh. If you can’t make the week-long event in Milan, the pop-up, which will run from February to May 2025 in the Saudi Arabian capital, plans on featuring some of the most established brands in the showcase, including Faliero Sarti, La Milanesa, Flabelus, NiLuu, Pahiesa Formentera, Naira Khachatryan, Bokja, and Tanoura.
Fashion isn’t the only appeal of the showcase, though. Sustainability has long been a main draw of White Milano, allowing visitors to enjoy a selection of top-notch ready-to-wear collections while also taking care of the environment. Since its inception in 2000, the showcase has continually employed environmentally friendly and zero waste setups, as well as minimized handling, which is the first source of global pollution.
These lofty aims are reality at White Milano. Whether in the Middle East or Europe, the event is a unique opportunity to engage with brands both well-known and newly discovered, as well as broaden your international contact list. Apologies if your fashion month calendar just got a little busier!
