Enter the shoes we actually want to wear: glossy, sculptural, sometimes impractical, always worth it. From jelly wedges to flower-studded Mary Janes, consider this your definitive guide to the pairs that’ll carry you through sweaty commutes, soft landings, and everything in between. Summer shoes are a tricky thing, too flat, too hot, too serious. So we’ve picked the ones that get the balance right. The shoes that make you feel a little cooler, a little taller, and a lot more yourself. Even if it’s just to the corner shop or all the way to Corfu.
Gimaguas Sandal Wedges in Red

These wedges scream ‘summer in the city.’ Red patent, minimalist straps, and just the right amount of height for Soho cobbles. First spotted in IRL at the London pop-up (thank god for pop-ups – as much as I love the internet you do really NEED to try shoes on). Devon Lee Carson is bringing the wedge (and the flares) back with serious style – paired perfectly with indigo denim, a cute chain bag and a red pedi – Mavala Cuzco 306, obviously (you’ll know which nail varnish I mean when you look it up – think silver cap and found in pharmacies, particularly European ones)
Toe-separating, conversation-starting, totally irresistible. These foot-shaped flats are equal parts fashion experiment and style essential. Sculptural, silver, and slightly strange – in a totally good way. I love the runway shots of them paired with a grey, above the ankle ribbed sock and a mini skirt. Wear them when you want people to ask questions.

CELINE Racer Low Top Sneaker in Rosewood
A throwback runner done the CELINE way; streamlined, unfussy, quietly flexy. Nylon, suede and leather in the dreamiest shade of rosewood – a pale, pastel, powdery pink. For the girl who wants her sneaker to say ‘I’m stylish’ not ‘I just ran 10K.’
Maha gives the cult T90 Shox a slick lifestyle upgrade, think 2003 football boot meets club night energy. Patent finishes, stacked soles and Shox technology fuse movement, nostalgia, and a bit of attitude (plus love the multi-colour petrol slick back). The Nike T90 Shox, reimagined for a new kind of game, less pitch, more pavement. Jordan Hemingway’s campaign captures the tension: softness vs. power, nostalgia vs. now – and we definitely need now!

Ancient Greek Sandals ‘Etheria’ Flip Flop Wedge in Pink
A flip flop, but make it maximal. Bubblegum, Jelly pink with a sky-high throwback 8cm wedge and major Y2K energy (and no, Y2K will never lose pace). Poolside or pavement, add SPF and a very short dress and you’ll be looking fabulous!
Bahnsen does shoes the way she does dresses: soft and totally wearable but strong. Neoprene, chunky soles, and petal details that don’t feel precious. Launching later this summer, for walking, running, skipping, whatever your summer brings. Already rocking the red Asics collaboration in Winter and now need these for the summer!

PUMA OG Woven Low-Top Mostro in Posie Pink
If Amelia Gray is wearing it then so should we! The PUMA Mostro returns in ‘Posie Pink’, a shade so poppy and playful it feels like a sugar rush with bite. The sleek, retro-futurist silhouette gets a bold hit of colour and that signature hook-and-loop strap (no excuses of why you’re not a Mostro girl, you’re in). It’s the kind of shoe that turns pavement into a runway, and right now, the reign of PUMA is showing no signs of slowing and we are very happy to be a part of it!
The ultimate chuck-on heel: effortless, sexy, and goes with everything. In this iteration of the Paige sandal, Aeyde nails the sweet spot between a statement and a staple, snake-effect straps that wind and weave like they’ve been plotted by instinct, in a shade deliciously named ‘Creamy Snake’ (say it out loud and it practically hisses). Cut from ultra-soft goatskin leather and set on a tapered kitten heel, they’re as easy on the feet as they are on the eyes. Made in Italy, each pair carries the quiet confidence of generations of leather-making expertise, crafted in family run factories where perfection is second nature and never to be compromised.
