Renata Brenha

Renata Brenha is a Brazilian womenswear designer based in London, who founded the brand in 2019. Renata’s brand reframes the place of women and Latin America in contemporary fashion, based on a sustainability proposal and the reuse of resources. This editorial shot by Takeru Kawahara pays lyrical homage to Japan’s Elegance and Carnival’s, with the images marking a special moment, Renata Brenha’s first shoot in Japan, a fitting tribute to a country where her brand has truly taken root. Captured against the serene backdrops of a traditional Tokyo studio and the beautiful Yoyogi Park, Renata Brenha’s garments are reimagined through a distinctly Japanese lens.
